Empty Stocking Fund

• Household members: 4

• Children: 2

• Special circumstance: The father's hours at work have been cut, plus they are struggling to pay medical bills and have no insurance. Also, one of the children's birthday is in December.

• Needs: Boy age 5 — wants anything, but would especially like a bike. He wears size 7 clothes and 13 shoes; Boy age 7 — Would like a bike; he also wears a large size 12-14 and shoe size 3.

• Who’s helped: More than 220 families who’ve asked the Salvation Army to help make Christmas special.

• Donations: Clovis, can be dropped off at the CNJ, 521 Pile St., or mailed to P.O. Box 1689, Clovis, NM, 88102. Portales, can be dropped off at the PNT, 101 E. 1st St., or mailed to P.O. Box 848, Portales, NM, 88130. Envelopes should be clearly marked “Empty Stocking Fund.” Checks must be payable to The Salvation Army.

Contributions will be forwarded to the Salvation Army office, 317 E. Second St., Clovis, or gifts may be purchased for specific children under 12 years old by choosing an Angel tag off trees located at North Plains Mall, St. Clair Orthodontics and Hastings in Clovis.
