Sheriff's deputy promoted

Deputy Javier Sanchez has been promoted to sergeant, according to a press release from the Roosevelt County sheriff.

Sanchez has been employed in law enforcement since 2004 and joined the sheriff's office in 2007.

The release said Sanchez has been an asset to the sheriff's office and they look forward to seeing great things in him as a first line supervisor.
