• Children: 7

• Special circumstance: The father is the only one who works in this family. The mother is busy running the large household. There never seems to be enough money at the end of the month, and recently they have struggled to keep on the utilities.

• Needs: Girl age 12 — A bike. She wears size 12 clothes and her shoe size is 4; Girl age 11 — A bike. She also wears size 12 clothes and her shoe size is 3; Boy age 10 — A big remote control car. He wears size 10 clothes and size 3 shoes; Boy age 6 — A bike. He wears size 8 husky clothes and size 2 shoes; Girl age 5 — Anything princess. She wears size 7 clothes and size 1 shoes; Boy age 4 — Likes the character Mike from Monster's University or cars. He wears size 5 clothes and size 1 shoes; Boy, age 2 — Cars. He wears size 3T clothes and size 9 shoes.

• Who’s helped: More than 220 families who’ve asked the Salvation Army to help make Christmas special.

• Donations: Can be dropped off at the CNJ, 521 Pile St., or mailed to P.O. Box 1689, Clovis, NM, 88102. Envelopes should be clearly marked “Empty Stocking Fund.” Checks must be payable to The Salvation Army.

Contributions will be forwarded to the Salvation Army office, 317 E. Second St., Clovis, or gifts may be purchased for specific children under 12 years old by choosing an Angel tag off trees located at North Plains Mall, St. Clair Orthodontics and Hastings in Clovis.
