SANTA FE — Eastern New Mexico University scored the first two goals of the second half, but couldn’t finish off Regis University, falling 3-2 in overtime Friday in the season-opener for both teams.

CC Rinehart scored twice for Regis, including the game-winner six minutes into overtime in the neutral-field game at Santa Fe Prep High School.

Junior midfielder Alyssa Prince of Las Cruces had a goal and an assist for the Zias.

Sophomore midfielder Carolyn Armijo gave the Zias the lead when she tapped in Prince’s corner kick in the 18 minutes into the second half.

A little over four minutes later, Prince banked an Armijo corner kick off the goalkeeper's leg.

Rinehart tied the score at 2-2 with just over four minutes left in regulation with a shot from the right side of the box into the left side of the goal.

Rinehart would end the game late in the 95th minute as beat the defender and beat the keeper to the right.

Regis outshot ENMU 18-8.
