Edgar Navarrete-Rodriguez, 24, of Clovis, died Friday morning in a rollover crash south of Dora, according to New Mexico State Police.

Capt. Jimmy Glascock said police were called at about 6:15 a.m. on Friday to investigate the crash.

According to a state police report, Navarrete-Rodriguez was northbound on State Road 206, negotiating a slight S-curve and the truck left the east side of highway. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle rolled several times.

Although Naverette-Rodriguez was wearing a seat belt he was pronounced dead at the site of the crash, according to the report.

There were no other occupants in the truck when it rolled over, Glascock said.
