U.S. 70 reconstruction project to move

U.S. 70 reconstruction project officials say they're moving construction work to the intersection of Main and First streets for the month of June, according to a Constructors, Inc. press release.

With this move, they ask motorists to expect the temporary closure of Main Street off of First Street with no through-traffic onto Main Street off Second Street.

Businesses on Main Street in-between First and Second streets will still be accessible off of Second Street, the press release says. Motorists are asked to expect congestion in this area. The closure will remain in effect for June.
