MEN

ENMU (11-13, 8-8 Lone Star Conference at Tarleton State (16-8, 9-7)

When: 7 p.m. (MST) today at Stephenville, Texas

Radio: KSEL-FM 105.9

Last time out: Both played on Saturday. The Greyhounds beat Incarnate Word 86-70 at home, while the Texans upended league champion Midwestern State 75-60 in Stephenville.

Last meeting: Jan. 16, ENMU beat Tarleton 59-56 on a last-second 3-pointer by junior G Rodney Blackmon.

Of note: Tarleton enters the final week of the regular season tied for third place in the LSC with UIW and holding the tiebreaker over the Cardinals by virtue of its win over MSU. The fifth-place Hounds still have a shot at third, but would need to beat TSU and Texas A&M-Commerce at home on Saturday while UIW loses its final two. … ENMU's win over the Texans last month was only its eighth in 39 all-time meetings. … Tarleton is 14-2 at home. The Hounds are 2-17 all-time in Stephenville, with their last win there coming in February 1996. … Blackmon (16.8 ppg, 5.0 apg) ranks third in the LSC in scoring and second in assists, while ENMU junior G Rodney Love (7.1 rpg) is fourth in rebounding. … Leading scorers for the Texans are 5-11 junior G Chuck Guy (14.0 ppg), 6-1 junior G Coleman Furst (10.5 ppg) and 6-2 junior G De'Andre Church (10.3 ppg).

WOMEN

ENMU (7-19, 6-12 Lone Star Conference) at Tarleton State (17-7, 13-5)

When: 5 p.m. (MST) today at Stephenville, Texas

Radio: KSEL-AM 1450

Last time out: Both teams played on Saturday. The Zias lost at home in overtime to Incarnate Word 64-61, while the TexAnns lost at home to Midwestern State 71-63.

Last meeting: Jan. 16, the TexAnns held off the Zias 63-61 at Greyhound Arena, their 12th consecutive win in the series.

Of note: It's the final home game of the season for Tarleton, and as such was scheduled to be Senior Night. Problem is, the team has no seniors, the first time that's been the case for the TexAnns since 1995-96. The men, by the way, have only one senior. … Tarleton comes in with its first two-game losing streak in conference play since the 2009-10 campaign. … Despite Saturday's loss, TSU is 11-2 at home. … The TexAnns probably have the top player in the league in 6-1 junior C Kiara Wright, who tops the LSC in scoring (17.2 ppg), leads NCAA Division II in rebounding (13.7 rpg) and ranks third in the conference in both FG shooting (60 percent) and blocks (50). Wright has 19 double-doubles, one of only two women in any NCAA division with that many this season. Also scoring in double figures is 5-7 junior G Peyton Adamson (16.1 ppg), third in the LSC.
