Area road construction information for this week:

City of Clovis

Beginning Tuesday, Lujan Communications will begin fiber optic excavation at 21st and Norris streets, moving north on Norris Street over a 30-day period.

K. Barnett and Sons is continuing construction on Llano Estacado Boulevard, east of Prince Street and south of Norris Street between Lowe's Home Improvement and the roundabout. Seek an alternate route if possible.

Curry County

Currently closed for the remainder of construction is Curry Road 7 from Curry Road R to Curry Road S. Also closed is Curry Road S from Curry Road 7 to U.S. 60/84. Scheduled for completion May 8, 2012.

Curry Road 6 between Curry Road F and Stateline Road 348 is closed for processing and laying caliche.
