Incumbent Crook seeking re-election

Republican Anna Crook of Clovis says she will seek re-election in District 64 of the state House of Representatives.

District 64 covers Curry County.

She has held the position since 1995. Crook and Larry A. Larranaga of Albuquerque are the senior Republican members of the house.

“I have really wonderful constituents,” Crook said. “I believe they deserve good representation. I listen to my constituents and my record reflects that.”

Crook said key issues for her include restructuring the state’s tax code and transportation, especially roads.

Signup day for the June 5 primary is March 20.

Crook is the only candidate who has announced candidacy for the position.
