E-Paper switching providers (updated)

Link to new e-paper

Users of our online newspapers are seeing a change in providers.

The Clovis News Journal, Portales News-Tribune and Quay County Sun, which transitioned Thursday from Freedom Communications into Clovis Media Inc., switched from Olive to Presteligence for e-Paper service.

The e-Paper is basically the print edition of the newspaper, presented as an online image similar to a PDF document. The change mostly consists of a new web address, which is linked above.

Users can also access it from cnjonline.com, pntonline.com or qcsunonline.com, under the Subscriber Services section at the bottom of the main page.

The free temporary logins are:

Portales: pntonline

Password: Free

Clovis: cnjonline

Password: Free

Quay will be available soon.

These login expire March 1

The e-Paper change will have no impact on the newspaper websites, though the websites will also undergo changes in the coming weeks as the new ownership transitions.

The new e-Paper will be free for the remainder of February to allow for more customer exposure and to transfer individual accounts.

Any print subscriber is eligible for free access to the e-Paper. A la carte e-Paper subscriptions are $5 per month, available in 3-, 6-, and 12-month increments.

Clovis Media Inc. Digital Web Specialist Philip Hall said the company will do a test run Thursday before making the switch Friday.

Anyone with questions can contact Hall or the circulation department at 763-3431.
