Fire victims assistance meeting

New Mexico Emergency Management Director Kenneth De Los Santos asked that all families displaced by the Clovis Apartment fire meet at the Lighthouse Mission 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The Red Cross will assess the needs of fire victims and arrange for temporary housing and other services.

Clovis Apartment Manager Judy Portillo said Belle Vista school will keep students of families who have been displaced at the school until they are picked up by their parents.
