Scrapbook tips featured on show

Information on using three-dimensional dolls in scrapbooks, making lingerie, and using stabilizers when modifying ready-to-wear garments will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday and noon on Thursday. (All times are Mountain.)

Dianna Effner is a designer of doll molds, and she has even figured out a way to use 3-dimensional dolls in scrapbooks. She’ll show how to press the molds as well as how to paint them. Her company is Expressions, Inc. and she’s from Jamestown, Mo.

Laura Keith is the owner of Laura Keith Apparel Design in Vancouver, Wash., and she’s going to demonstrate how to make lingerie by machine, which used to be very painstaking with precise hand stitching required.

Author and designer, Cindy Losekamp will talk about what stabilizers to use when modifying ready-to-wear garments, especially sweatshirts. Her business is called Sew Artfully Yours, Inc. and she’s from Trenton, Ind.

Information on making thread lace scarves, a G-scale version of LGB trains and preparing and serving roast will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” noon on Tuesday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. (All times are Mountain.)

Sewing expert and educator, Patsy Shields will demonstrate making beautiful thread lace scarves using a variety of threads on the market. She is with Sulky of America and lives in Sellersburg, Ind.

Diane Creston will shows a G-scale version of LGB trains, which remain a favorite of children and adults alike. She’s from New York City.

Patty Waid, New Mexico Beef Council, will demonstrate different ways to prepare and serve a roast, which is a very economical cut of beef. She’s from Albuquerque.
