Joe's Boot Shop reports burglaries

Joe’s Boot Shop, 2600 Mabry Dr., has been burglarized twice in the last week, according to Coli D. Hunt, the shop’s owner.

A Clovis Police report shows Hunt reported the glass front door of his building was broken by burglars on Dec. 28. Hunt estimated that $1,500 worth of perfume, cologne and jewelry were taken fro the display area during the burglary.

Hunt said video footage of the second burglary on Wednesday morning showed two individuals in shop. He said they took $10 cash from underneath the main register.

Hunt said his new security system allowed him to view a live feed of his store’s surveillance on his cell phone.

“I was watching them. They were in my store for 38 seconds this morning at 3:51 (a.m.).”

Hunt described the burglars as one man wearing a black hoodie with a red bandana wrapped around his face. He believes the other was a woman wearing a black hoodie.
