ENMU women sixth at Tech rodeo

LUBBOCK — Senior Shambrae Williams and junior Victoria Codgill won the first go of barrel racing and breakaway roping, respectively, in last weekend’s Texas Tech rodeo, pacing Eastern New Mexico University’s women to a sixth-place team finish with 95 team points.

Weatherford College took team honors with 450 points for the women, while Tarleton State won the men’s title with 665 points. ENMU’s men did not score in the meet.

It was the final competition of the fall season for the ENMU squads.
