Rain expected through 10 a.m.

Widespread rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue across eastern New Mexico through 10 a.m. today, according to a news release from Clovis Emergency Management Director Ken De Los Santos.

The release said most areas will receive “a few hundredths to one quarter inch” of rain. Some areas could see half an inch of rain, the release said.

High winds are also expected with gusts to 45 mph.
