Family offers thanks to community

When a family confronts sadness and misfortune with a gallant spirit, the family learns to live bravely and strong. For we know that sometimes the most beautiful intentions in the world cannot be seen or touched, they must be felt with the heart.

We also know that a candle loses nothing of its light by lighting another candle. We, the family of MaryLou Lucero want to thank each and everyone of you who are coming together and are helping us in our time of need.

We want to thank our family and friends who have extended their love, prayers and support during this difficult period in our lives.

We want to thank the many participants (too numerous to mention) who helped on the enchilada and tamales sell benefit.

A very special thanks of appreciation goes to Mrs. Betty Salaz, Henry Lucero, Frances Gonzales and Sadie Perea, who were instrumental in coordinating this great event and made it into what became an act of love.

God bless all of you and God bless this great community.
