Recent cases in Roosevelt County Magistrate Court, according to court records:

Aug. 30

• Chelsea Sewell, born 1990, pleaded guilty to the charge of being a minor in possession of alcohol. Sewell was sentenced to 182 days supervised probation, 30 hours community service, completing the ASPEN program and $73 in fines and fees.

• Cole Cooper, born 1992, pleaded guilty to charges of being a minor in possession of alcohol. Cooper was sentenced to 182 days supervised probation, 30 hours community service, completing the ASPEN program and $73 in fines and fees.

• Christopher Brandenburg, born 1979, pleaded no contest to the charges of aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. Brandenburg was sentenced to 45 days jail time, DWI school, 24 hours of community service and $627 in fines and fees.

• Andrew Medrano, born 1981, pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. Medrano was sentenced to two days jail time, 364 days supervised probation, the ASPEN program, DWI school, 48 hours community service and $541 in fines and fees.

• Manny Fonseca, born 1992, pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. Fonseca was sentenced to 364 days supervised probation, the ASPEN program, DWI school, 48 hours community service and $541 in fines and fees.

• Dennis Pena, born 1961, pleaded guilty to charges of assault on a peace officer. Pena was sentenced to 364 days supervised probation with no fines or fees.
