Community choir rehearsals ongoing

Community choir rehearsals are being held on Sundays through the end of August for “Homeland,” a patriotic musical.

Scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, rehearsals will include singers from across eastern New Mexico drawn from church choirs in Clovis, Portales and Texico in addition to others.

The musical will be presented on Sept. 11 to commemorate the 9/11 attacks.

Additional groups and individuals are invited to participate.
