Plains Regional Medical Center auxilian Dorothy Bean was awarded the prestigious governor’s volunteer award.

Bean was presented the award at the 13th annual Governor’s Spotlight on Volunteers Conference held April 15 at the Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown. She was chosen from many people who were nominated statewide. The award was given in recognition of New Mexico residents who excel in voluntary service in their community.
