Roosevelt General Hospital Auxiliary

The April 20 Roosevelt General Hospital Auxiliary executive committee meeting was called to order by President Sid Phillips by reading the Auxiliary Prayer. The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as read by Secretary Adele Breech.

Peggy Jones, substitute treasurer presented the treasurer’s report. In keeping with the economy and other activities for the month of April, e.g. income tax, Easter, etc., the gift shop was consistent with the reduced income.

The long awaited order of the two recliners has arrived, been paid, and they are in use in a hospital room. The long delay is the requirement of washable material for the chairs. Also the clock has been installed and paid for.

The Auxiliary expressed it appreciation to Heartland Nursing Home for the April 14 volunteer breakfast honoring the auxiliary, which was well attended.

The May 18 meeting will be the awarding of pins earned by members since the last pinning.
