DWI patrols planned

The Clovis Police Department will conduct DWI saturation patrols Saturday, and a DWI checkpoint on Friday, according to a release from the department.

The saturation patrols will take place 10 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday, while the checkpoint will follow 11 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.

Both measures will take place inside city limits, and are funded through an Operation DWI grant.

Officers will be specifically targeting drunk and drug impaired drivers.
