“Solve for yes”

2010 was a great year for the City of Clovis. As a community we have continued to undergo a growth and expansion period in spite of the challenging national economic climate. As a community we have been blessed in this regard and our hardworking municipal employees continue to move the City of Clovis forward in a positive direction as we continue to thrive and grow. I would like to thank them for the excellent service they provide the citizens of Clovis.

I would like to especially thank the Commissioners for all of their hard work, dedication and support they have given to the community over the last year. We have done some great things already this year and I know we have many more great things ahead of us. By working together we will continue to ensure as a Commission that we can “Solve For Yes” in finding workable solutions in fulfilling the needs of Clovis’ residents.

Clovis’ citizens have many needs and expectations of the services provided by their municipal government, and as your elected officials it is our privilege and responsibility to work hard to ensure that these needs and expectations are met in the most effective and economical manner. As a community we have been blessed that our gross receipts tax has held steady due to area industrial and military expansion projects.
