Artist of month

Anita Lucille (Fulton) Bradburn of Clovis was chosen by the Pintores Art League as artist of the moth for February 2011. Her work will be displayed in Clovis-Carver Library throughout the month.

She met her husband, George L. Bradburn in 1946 at Mesa State College in Colorado and they were married in 1948. They then moved to Portales to attend Eastern New Mexico University then moved to Clovis in 1950.

George died in 2008. They have four children and six grandchildren.

Lucille has exhibited her work in numerous local shows and at the federal building in Dallas the capitol building in Santa Fe and more.

Her paintings can be seen at the Clovis Community College library, in private homes in Clovis and in several homes and businesses in Amarillo.
