Joint Land Use meeting scheduled

Curry and Roosevelt counties will host a joint meeting of the Joint Land Use Study policy and technical committees 1:30 p.m. March 2 in the north annex of the Clovis-Carver Public Library.

The purpose of the public meeting is to review and discuss changes made since the Dec. 20 public meeting.

The study is being conducted by Curry and Roosevelt counties to ensure operational effectiveness of Cannon Air Force Base and Melrose Bombing Range and protect interests of residents and businesses surrounding the installations.
