San Juan County resolves to support LATN

People are still talking about Cannon's LATN proposal.

The San Juan County Commission passed a resolution Thursday night in support of Cannon Air Force Base's proposal to establish a low altitude tactical navigation area, or LATN, in northwest New Mexico and southern Colorado.

San Juan is the second county to support the LATN. Colfax County passed a resolution in support of the LATN last week.

So far, the Taos, Santa Fe, San Miguel and Rio Arriba county commissions, along with the city councils of Las Vegas and Taos, have passed resolutions opposing the plan.
