Comments sought on land use plan

Local residents have until Nov. 30 to comment on a draft plan of a Joint Land Use Study.

Comments will be accepted either by mail or e-mail, according to a press release from the Curry County assistant manager.

The study is designed to assist local communities in working with the Air Force by conducting an assessment of issues in the area which could impact the mission of Cannon Air Force Base.

The draft study can be found online at http://www.cannonafbjlus.org.
