Police report two robberies

Clovis police are investigating a robbery and an attempted robbery Monday night of waitresses at Clovis drive-in restaurants.

Just before 6 p.m., police dispatch received reports of a robbery at Sonic restaurant in the 200 block of West Seventh Street, records show.

About 11 minutes later, a second call came in describing a similarly dressed suspect, in a gray hoodie-style sweatshirt, attempting to rob a waitress at Foxy’s Drive-in at West Seventh and Thornton Street.

According to a press release from Clovis police, the suspect threatened to shoot people in both incidents, though no weapon was seen.

No arrests have been made.
