State officials said the pond at Oasis State Park was stocked Monday with more than 1,600 trout.
The stocked fish average 11 inches in length, according to a news release from the park.
Anglers were reporting power baits, salmon eggs and Pistol Petes were obtaining the best results Tuesday for catching the trout.
