Hunter education course set

New Mexico Game and Fish will be conducting a Hunter Education class. The class is three sessions and all sessions must be attended. Class dates and times are:

From 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Classes are at Clovis Community College, Room 101.

The class is required for anyone under 18 who wants to purchase a New Mexico hunting license. Pre-registration is at the Clovis Walmart located on North Prince at their sporting goods department. There will be no registration accepted the first night of the session. Class size is limited and it is first come, first sign up basis.

Registration ends Wednesday at noon. A donation of $5 per student is required to offset volunteer expenses. Any student under the age of 11 must have a parent or guardian attend all classes with them.
