Poster contest closed to public

Because of increased cases of influenza-like illness, Roosevelt General Hospital has decided not to allow the public to judge posters created by Portales sixth-graders in honor of Infection Control Week, said Director of Marketing Gay Weese. In order to keep the flu from spreading, people are discouraged from coming to the hospital unless they need treatment.

Weese said RGH employees would judge the posters.
