According to the Portales Valley News, Mrs. Sam J. Nixon of Fort Sumner was to be in Portales the following Saturday and would address the ladies of Portales and Roosevelt County on the subject of the League of Nations. She was to also have some sample ballots and explain just how to mark the ticket to those who did not understand how to vote.
