Children’s home holds breakfast

The New Mexico Christian Children’s Home has scheduled a pork chop breakfast fundraiser for 6:30-8:30 a.m. Aug. 18 in the Jake Lopez building at the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds.

For $8 a plate, people can have a pork chop, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and coffee or juice. TIckets are available in advance or at the door.

Proceeds go to the Shooting Stars 4-H club, which operates at the children’s home.
