Boy Scouts hold fundraiser

The Conquistador Council of Boy Scouts of America, which serves Roosevelt and Curry counties, has scheduled its annual Sporting Clay Fun Shoot starting at 8:30 a.m. June 27.

Proceeds go toward programs and services of the council.

A barbecue lunch is planned after the shoot at noon, and an auction of sporting goods is set to follow. Nearly 100 people are expected to form 20 teams for the shoot.
