Livestock group joins association

Wofford Livestock of Portales has joined the American Angus Association, according to a news release.

The association has nearly 33,000 active adult and junior members, making it the largest beef cattle registry association in the world. Its computerized records include detailed information on nearly 16 million registered Angus, the release said.

These permanent records help members select and mate the best animals in their herds to produce high quality breeding cattle, the release said.
