Bovine TB meetings scheduled

An informational meeting on the bovine tuberculosis situation in Roosevelt and Curry counties with the new split-state status is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday in the McAlister Room of the Jake Lopez Building on the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds.

The New Mexico Livestock Board will also discuss cattle movement regulations, TB testing requirements and premises registration and individual identification requirements.

A similar meeting is also set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Curry County Extension Building on the Curry County Fairgrounds.

The Curry and Roosevelt County Extension Offices are hosting the meetings.
