Contest Winner
Congratulations to Dora junior Renee Gantert for her winning entry in the recent Veterans of Foreign Wars essay contest. Renee’s essay took first place in the district and second place at the state level, for which she received a $300 savings bond at the VFW banquet Feb. 14.
District basketball
District play will take place all this week, with the championship game for the girls taking place on Friday and the boys’ championship game on Saturday. Game sites will be available as play progresses.
