Art Students Create Sculptures Around Campus
Students in Mollie Oblinger’s Art 493 class created sculptures that will be on display around campus for about a week. Three of the sculptures will be located outside, two in the Golden Library and one in JWLA.
Each student had to come up with an idea for where they could house their sculpture, and then sculpt, to scale, a dwelling for the proposed inhabitant. Some inhabitants included a bookworm, aliens and lichen.
