Verdict on Bush: He made us safer

I have been waiting several days now for someone to write a response to the letter from Kirby Rowan that appeared in your paper on Jan 18. Since no one has, I will.

What prompted me to get off dead center was the shabby treatment by the liberals present as President Bush boarded his helicopter the day of the inauguration. This, coupled with other remarks, like those from Rowan, show that our liberal friends have little respect for the office of president of the United States. Behavior such as booing is inexcusable.

Rowan is right in that history will judge George Bush and that judgment will be far different from his. All the things done by him after 9/11 to make us safer must have been forgotten by
