Faith Search Discovery seminar — 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. First Baptist Church, Second Street and Avenue C. Skeptical-biologist-turned-Christian Don Bierle presents evidence in support of Christianity. Seminar and lunch are free, and Bierle’s book “Surprised by Faith” is available for $6.

Tuesday

Roosevelt County Commission — 9 a.m. Roosevelt County Courthouse.

Teen writers group meeting — 4 p.m. Portales Public Library. Part of Some Teens Are Reading program.

Wednesday

Preschool Storytime — 10:30 a.m. Portales Public Library. Stories, music and activities. This week’s theme is “Baa Baa Black Sheep.”

Thursday

Pep Bookmobile stop — 9-10 a.m. Pep Post Office. New Mexico State Library Rural Bookmobile offers loans s with no registration or late fees.
