The first Mayor’s New Year's Gala was held Wednesday at the Clovis Civic Center. The event served as a fundraiser for Clovis MainStreet to be used toward the revitalization of downtown. About 140 people attended the event. The amount of money raised during the event, which included an auction, was not available Wednesday night.
