On New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, intoxicated drivers will have another way to get home besides getting behind the wheel of a car. AAA Texas/New Mexico is once again offering its “Tipsy Tow” program to members and non-members alike.
From 6 p.m. New Year’s Eve through midnight the following night, drivers who feel they have had too much to drink can call AAA’s Emergency Roadside Service program at 1-800-AAA-HELP (1-800-222-4357) and a tow truck will take them and their car home free, up to a distance of 10 miles.
