I have seen the light(s)

Keiko Ohnuma. I wouldn’t know her if she rang my front door bell. But, judging from the article in the January New Mexico magazine, we oughtn’t to be total strangers.

Her description of snowshoeing by moonlight in the Sangre de Cristos tells me of someone who loves the winter night. And yes, before getting to the heart of this column, I will say that hopefully, sometime between January and March, I will snowshoe the trail she describes.
