Eastern New Mexico College Players presented "Antigone" as the first major dramatic production in the college's new theatre. The play, originally set in Greece and written by Sophocles, was introduced to the English world five years earlier in France under German rule, an ironic note as the plot of the play includes a young girl standing against an oppressive government.
