Dynamic Contrast art show — 7:30 a.m.- midnight. ENMU Golden Library Runnels Gallery. Mixed media and sculpture by fine arts student Charlayne Heselton, and painting and sculpture by fine arts student Helen Perry.

CDs for Toy Drive — Noon-1 p.m. ENMU Campus Union Building lobby. Donate a toy worth $10 or more for underpriveleged children and receive a Rychus Rythum Music CD.

Rotary District Governor Visit — Noon. ENMU Campus Union Building, Pecos Room. Rotary District 5520 Gov. Tom Lindsay is sharing Rotary International President D. K. Lee’s theme of “Make Dreams Real” during the Rotary Club of Portales regular weekly meeting.

Thursday

Life Savers Food Bank Delivery — 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Memorial Building. Commodities delivered.

Recycling Meeting — 6 p.m. ENMU Campus Union Building, Aztec Room. ENMU scientists will discuss recycling with members of the community, students, faculty and representatives the City of Portales.

Lindsey Elementary School Christmas Concert — 7 p.m. Portales High School Performing Art Center. Free, sixth-grade band and choir perform.

Friday

ENMU Board of Regents — 9:30 a.m. ENMU Administration Building Regents Room.

Downtown Live Windows — 5-7 p.m. Downtown Portales. Businesses stay open and/or offer live window displays and refreshments.

Senior Olympics TREK event — 9 a.m.-3 p.m. ENMU Greyhound Arena. Health and fitness workshops and health assessments free for people age 50 and up.

Sunday

Melrose Community Christmas Cantata — Noon. First Methodist Church of Melrose. Christmas music followed by a meal.

Monday

Melrose Elementary Christmas Program — 7 p.m. Commons area of Melrose Elementary School. Attendees are asked to bring canned food for the Community Pantry.

Tuesday

Melrose High School Christmas Program — 6:30 p.m. Commons area of Melrose High School.
