KTQM hosts candidate forum

Local radio station KTQM is hosting a forum for local primary candidates from 6-8 p.m. tonight.

Station Manager Bob Coker said listeners’ questions will be posed to the candidates on the air by Grant McGee, who will act as moderator.

Coker said state and county candidates have been invited, and several have said they plan to attend.

The candidate forum is a tradition the station has kept for more than 20 years, Coker said.

The broadcast can be heard on KTQM 99.9 FM or KWKA 680 AM.

Residents interested in asking candidates questions can call 762-4411 during business hours or during the broadcast.
