Bonds to benefit higher education

We’re urging voters support Clovis Community College and Eastern New Mexico University in the Nov. 4 general election. General Obligation Bond D has $12 million for Eastern New Mexico University and Bond C has $4 million for Clovis Community College.

The cost to property owners for both bonds combined is very reasonable — only $1.15 per month ($13.77 per year) per $100,00 of assessed valued of their houses. The cost is so low because other general obligation bonds are expiring at the time these bonds would be issued.
