Information on cooking with cherries and preparing seafood will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” noon Tuesday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Registered dietitian Pat Baird will talk about how we can enjoy sweet cherries all year long. Thanks to the availability of canned and frozen sweet cherries, we can add them to many of our favorite desserts, salads, sauces and a myriad of other recipes. Baird lives in Greenwich, Conn.

Marilyn Rose, spokesperson for the Bureau of Seafood, will help us learn to economize with seafood. She lives in Jacksonville, Fla.

Information on planning meals and packed lunches, new wall treatments, and creating window valances will be the featured topics on “Creative Living” 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and noon Thursday.

Cookbook author, Lisa Daniel will explain the importance of planning meals and packing lunches for children, as well as discussing unplanned snacks, comparing school lunch choices and calorie counting. Her company is 45 Pounds LLC, and she’s from Grass Plains, Texas.
