Armed robbery being investigated

Curry County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an early Monday morning robbery at a home southeast of Clovis.

Police were called to the 800 block of Curry Road 6 around 4 a.m. for a report of a robbery, records show.

Undersheriff Wesley Waller said the incident occurred around midnight but law enforcement wasn’t called until later.

There were three male victims, 17, 19 and 21 years old, Waller said.

The 19-year-old was the only victim injured. He was struck twice in the head with a firearm and suffered lacerations, Waller said.

Waller declined to provide additional information, citing an ongoing investigation.

The case is being investigated as armed robbery, motor vehicle theft, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and larceny.
