Clovis police shut down a meth lab at a Clovis hotel Monday night, according to a CPD press release.

According to a press release issued Tuesday, police received a tip there about a possible meth lab in a room at Choices Inn on Mabry Drive.

Warrants are being sought for two males, the release said, and a female suspect is being investigated in connection with the lab.

Through surveillance, officers observed suspects discarding materials consistent with methamphetamine manufacturing and obtained a search warrant for the room and adjacent vehicles, the release said.

Police found several items identified as components for making meth in the room, including psuedophedrine pills, matchbooks, muriatic acid, hydrogen peroxide, Coleman camping fuel, drain cleaner and several jars of unknown liquids, the release said, in addition to drug paraphernalia.

The lab was dismantled by the state police clandestine drug lab team and an environmental clean-up team from Albuquerque took the items for disposal, the release said.
