Alumni/Employee Briefs

Two former employees recently died. John (Josh) Burdine and Maria Enriquez. Both worked with the physical plant.

ENMU marketing graduate Katherine Kirkes, 27, was killed Saturday morning in a car crash south of Carlsbad. She participated in rodeo at Eastern.

College of Fine Arts relocated

Due to the music building renovation, the dean's office for the College of Fine Arts has been moved to the old KENW Broadcast Center. The phone number (ext. 2373) and the station number (16) remain the same.

TV station plans live call-in

KENW-TV is conducting a live call-in program at 8 p.m. July 21 to address the federally mandated transition to digital broadcasts in February.

Rotary looking for exchange team

Rotary International District 5520 and the Portales Rotary Club is looking for young professionals (between 25-40 years of age) to apply for a Group Study Exchange team member position.

The Rotary Group Study Exchange is a one-month professional exchange scheduled for April 20 to May 20 to Columbia.
